A little about the position:

Job Summary

In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the pool buying process—from initial consultation and site evaluation to design presentation and contract close. You will use your design creativity, product knowledge, and sales expertise to create beautiful, functional outdoor living environments that meet and exceed client expectations.

Some of What You Will Do:

+ Conduct on-site consultations to assess customer needs, property layout, and design possibilities.

+ Design custom pools, spas, and outdoor living spaces using 2D/3D design software (e.g., Pool Studio, AutoCAD).

+ Present design concepts, proposals, and pricing packages to prospective clients.

+ Educate clients on materials, features, technology options, and construction timelines.

+ Prepare and close sales contracts while ensuring alignment with budget and project feasibility.

+ Collaborate with construction, engineering, and permitting departments to ensure seamless project execution.

+ Follow up with leads, maintain CRM records, and manage pipeline to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.

+ Provide exceptional customer service throughout the design and build process to ensure client satisfaction and referrals.

+ Stay up to date with trends in pool design, landscaping, and outdoor living innovations.

What You Bring to the Table: (Qualifications)

+ 2+ years in pool, spa, or landscape design and sales

+ Background in architecture, landscape design, or construction sales

+ Familiarity with CRM platforms (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.)

+ Proven experience in high-ticket sales, preferably in pools, outdoor living, or construction design.

+ Strong portfolio or experience with design software (e.g., Pool Studio, AutoCAD, SketchUp).

+ Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple client projects and meet sales goals consistently.

+ Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and construction practices is a plus.

+ Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.

+ Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for site visits.

Some Important Information for you:

Position Title: Sales and Design Associate (2 openings)

Search Area: 1)Babcock Ranch/Fort Myers, Florida and 2)Sarasota, Florida

Employment Type: Remote but must live in the search area specified above.

Status: Full-time, not eligible for relocation package or visa sponsoring.

Salary Range: Disclosure as required by applicable state law, the annual salary range for this position is $40,000 plus commission, with on target earnings being $112,000+. This is Latham Pool’s good faith belief at the time of this posting.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across US geographic markets. Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, knowledge, skills, education, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
