    Job Title: Forklift Operator** **Job Description

     

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Forklift Operator to join our fast-paced warehouse team. This role involves managing the efficient unloading and loading of kegs, as well as ensuring the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.

    Responsibilities

    + Assist in the unloading and loading of new and used kegs upon truck arrival.

    + Operate stand-up forklifts to move inventory.

    + Utilize RF Scanners and WMS/SAP systems effectively.

    + Receive bin numbers and locate beer pallets in the refrigerated area.

    + Be solution-oriented to properly locate and move materials in the stockroom.

    + Load and unload shipping trucks.

    + Prepare packages for shipping.

    + Maintain a clean and organized warehouse during downtime.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience with stand-up forklifts.

    + Proficiency in using RF Scanners and WMS/SAP systems.

    + Ability to lift cases up to 35lbs and maneuver kegs up to 170lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + At least 21 years old to work onsite.

    + 2 years of warehouse experience.

    + Previous experience in the food and beverage industry is preferred.

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Forklift certification (can be obtained onsite).

    Work Environment

    The work environment is climate-controlled, although duties may require entering the refrigerated area to handle products. The position offers a choice between a 2nd shift from 3 PM to 11 PM, Monday through Friday, or a 3rd shift from 11:30 PM to 7 AM, Sunday through Thursday. The work location is in Richmond, VA.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sandston, VA.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $21.00/hr.
