Job Title: Brazer/Assembly

Job Description

Join our dynamic Reefer Assembly Department as a Brazer, where you will play a crucial role in assembling and installing refrigeration system components. Your expertise in reading blueprints and executing braze for copper tubing will be valued as you work to maintain product quality and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift and Pay

First Shift: 4 - 10s

Pay up to $18-$21/hr (must have brazing for higher rates)

Responsibilities

+ Assemble and install refrigeration system components such as compressors, motors, blowers, fans, coils, electric components, and wiring.

+ Apply caulk, foam, and Sikaflex as necessary to assemblies.

+ Perform brazing of components during assembly.

+ Maintain a high level of workplace organization.

+ Complete unit traveler paperwork.

+ Collaborate with the Supervisor and others to develop work instructions and procedures.

+ Meet customers' product quality requirements and report any product quality issues.

+ Strictly adhere to quality manuals, standards, safety, and corporate policies.

+ Contribute to continuous improvement efforts.

+ Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Essential Skills

+ 1+ years of brazing experience (Copper to Copper or Copper to Mixed Metals).

+ Proficiency in mechanical assembly.

+ Ability to read blueprints effectively.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.03 - $21.74/hr.
