Position Summary
Operates both manual and CNC equipment for the efficient production of quality components. Responsible for the production of high-tolerance precision parts.
What You'll Do as a CNC Machinist I
• Interpret technical prints.
• Setup, operate and adjust machining equipment for production efficiency with supervision.
• Monitors quality of parts produced to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Abides by all Company safety and health policies and procedures.
• Must use personal protective equipment if required.
• Aware of and conforms to company ISO goals and objectives, and supports company ISO requirements.
• Aware of and actively participates in company's Lean philosophy of continuous improvement.
• Ensures measuring devices used to check product quality are calibrated prior to use.
• Maintains in-process product identification.
• Follows procedure for handling nonconforming parts
The Experience, Skills and Abilities Needed
Required:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Vocational/Technical - CNC Machining degree or
• Minimum one plus years CNC Machine operation
• Knowledge of MS Office applications including Word, Excel
Preferred:
Vocational/Technical CNC Machining, Machine/Tool Technology degree
Minimum two to three years CNC Machining operation
Data entry system experience
CAM software reading experience
Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings

Pay range for this opportunity is $20.43 - $26.44. This position is incentive plan eligible, at target earnings of $[INSERT RANGE], depending on performance.
Minimum pay rates offered will comply with county/city minimums, if higher than range listed. Pay rates are based on a number of factors, including but not limited to local labor market costs, years of relevant experience, education, professional certifications, foreign language fluency, etc.
