    The Possibilities at Home (P@TH) Internship Program Overview

     

    The Possibilities at Home (P@TH) Internship provides Berrien County residents with the opportunity to experience a Fortune 500 company, enhance their education experience with real-world application, strengthen business acumen, and develop personal and professional skills to prepare them for future career opportunities.

    Project assignments are available in various disciplines but could be in areas such as:

    + Engineering

    + Information Technology

    + Business

    + Finance

    + Data Analytics

    + Human Resources

    + and more.

     

    Applications for this program will be accepted until February 15, 2026. This 10-12 week program starts in mid-May and concludes in early August.

     

    This role in summary

     

    We are seeking qualified students currently completing their first or second years of college to participate in an onsite internship experience.

    In this role the intern will:

    + Report to a Whirlpool Leader who can provide career mentorship

    + Have the opportunity to work on a project that makes a business impact

    + Experience work that uses creative thinking skills

    + Learn about continuous improvement and how to drive results and success in a corporate environment

    + Serve as an advocate for the P@TH Internship

    + Participate in development experiences, meetings, and a mentor program

     

    Successful completion of the internship can lead to an opportunity for consideration in other Whirlpool internship programs and post-graduation consideration for our Leadership Development programs or other entry-level opportunities for Whirlpool.

    Minimum Requirements

    + Currently accepted to or enrolled at a 4-year college or university or 2-year program with intent to complete a 4-year degree

    + Current or recent resident of Berrien County

    + 2.8+ Cumulative GPA or recommended by counselor or teacher/professor
