Responsibilities

Design, build, and support highly available, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platforms across hybrid cloud environments. Contribute to infrastructure strategy and long term roadmap planning, ensuring platforms are aligned with business and technology goals. Develop and maintain infrastructure configurations, automation, operational procedures, and technical documentation to support stable and repeatable environments.

Manage and optimize build, deployment, and CI CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable application releases. Partner closely with software architects and engineering teams to improve system performance, scalability, and fault tolerance through automation and infrastructure as code. Monitor platform health and performance, proactively identifying issues and implementing improvements to minimize downtime.

Provide on call support and lead incident response for infrastructure related events, ensuring timely resolution and clear communication. Prepare operational metrics and performance reports, sharing insights and progress with leadership. Support infrastructure initiatives by contributing to RFPs, proposals, contracts, and scopes of work when needed.

Required Skill

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of experience and technical certifications.

+ Minimum of seven years of combined development and DevOps experience supporting large scale infrastructure environments, with strong experience on cloud platforms and a preference for Microsoft Azure.

+ Proven expertise in CI CD pipelines, infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, and configuration management or automation tools including Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or SaltStack.

+ Advanced hands on experience with containers and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

+ Strong scripting and automation skills.

+ Preferred certifications include AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Microsoft Azure Developer Associate, Microsoft DevOps Engineer Expert, Puppet Certified Professional, Docker Certified Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.

Desired Skill

+ Experience managing centralized logging, monitoring, and performance reporting platforms such as Datadog, SignalFX, or New Relic, including building dashboards and alerts to track system health and scalability.

+ Strong documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non technical stakeholders.

+ Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments and contributing to infrastructure governance and optimization initiatives.
