Responsibilities

Lead and manage the day to day operations of the Business Applications team, ensuring reliable performance, timely issue resolution, and high service quality across all supported systems. Oversee the implementation, configuration, enhancement, and ongoing support of business critical applications that support financial and operational areas such as Accounting, Risk Management, and Treasury. Partner with business stakeholders and IT leadership to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and long term application strategies.

Drive the full application lifecycle including upgrades, integrations, migrations, and enhancements while minimizing impact to business operations. Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, and third party vendors, managing vendor relationships and related contracts. Ensure clear and accurate documentation of business processes, system configurations, and application changes.

Continuously improve application performance, scalability, security, and reliability across on premises, hybrid, and cloud environments. Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and cybersecurity teams to support cloud migration initiatives, performance monitoring, governance, and risk mitigation. Ensure applications meet internal security standards and regulatory requirements, including SOX and PCI DSS, and support audits, risk assessments, and disaster recovery planning.

Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development to application analysts, fostering a collaborative and high performing team culture. Stay current with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in application management, cloud platforms, and DevOps, and recommend innovations that enhance efficiency and business value.

Required Skill

+ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

+ Minimum of five years of experience in implementing, configuring, and supporting enterprise business applications with strong troubleshooting and incident management capabilities.

+ Proven experience collaborating with cross functional teams and business stakeholders.

+ Solid understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements such as SOX and PCI DSS.

+ Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.

+ Cloud platform certifications such as AWS or Azure are highly preferred.

Desired Skill

+ Experience managing or supervising application development or support teams.

+ Background in the financial services industry.

+ Hands on exposure to DevOps tools and practices.

+ Experience with ERP, CRM, and other enterprise platforms, including application integration, data management, and workflow automation.

+ Project management certifications such as PMP or Agile are a plus.
