Houston Methodist Specialty Physician Group is seeking a **Board-Certified or Board-Eligible OB/GYN Nocturnist** to join our growing team at **Houston Methodist Willowbrook Hospital** . This position is primarily based at the Willowbrook campus and focuses on **overnight, in-house coverage** supporting Labor & Delivery and Obstetrics services.

Qualifications

+ Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology

+ Strong clinical judgment with the ability to manage high-acuity obstetric patients independently

+ Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset

+ Prior experience as a nocturnist or hospital-based OB/GYN preferred

+ Interest in resident education and supervision preferred (but not required)

Responsibilities

+ Provide **overnight, in-house OB/GYN coverage** for Labor & Delivery, obstetric triage, and emergency gynecologic care

+ Manage laboring patients, obstetric emergencies, and unassigned patients during night shifts

+ Perform vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections as clinically indicated

+ Collaborate closely with nursing staff, anesthesia, neonatology, and daytime OB/GYN teams to ensure continuity of care

+ Supervise and support OB/GYN residents during overnight shifts, as applicable

+ Participate in quality and safety initiatives related to obstetric care

+ Night shifts are structured and scheduled to support work-life balance; weekend and holiday coverage included per nocturnist schedule
