Job Summary
The Aide Non-Medical Care provides courteous and professional customer service by screening individuals entering the facility, ensuring compliance with facility safety protocols, and offering general assistance to patients, visitors, and staff. This role requires strong communication skills and a focus on maintaining a safe, orderly, and welcoming environment.
Essential Functions
+ Utilizes excellent customer service skills to ensure that patients, visitors, staff, and physicians feel prioritized and safe.
+ Monitors the entry area to ensure an orderly flow of individuals and addresses any congestion or delays promptly.
+ Assists with facilitating wheelchair availability or other mobility aids for patients or visitors with limited mobility.
+ Guides patients and visitors to appropriate locations within the facility, providing directions and information as needed.
+ Reports any concerns requiring attention to the Nursing Supervisor, HR Director, or Employee Health promptly.
+ Responds to inquiries regarding facility policies, hours of operation, and general facility information in a clear and helpful manner.
+ Performs other duties as assigned.
+ Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
+ Complies with all policies and standards.
Qualifications
+ 0-2 years experience in a professional customer service oriented environment or public-facing role required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills to provide effective customer service.
+ Ability to maintain a calm and professional demeanor in a public-facing role.
+ Awareness of safety protocols and adherence to PPE requirements.
+ Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized work area.
Licenses and Certifications
+ CPI - Nonviolent Crisis Prevention & Intervention Training preferred
