Summary:
The Human Resources Specialist Group provides strategic and administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources while driving key global HR initiatives and projects. This role serves as a trusted partner to HR leadership and regional teams, ensuring alignment of global strategies with local execution. While the position does not include direct staff supervision, it carries significant responsibility for coordinating programs, managing processes, and fostering collaboration across regions to enhance efficiency and compliance within the HR function.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, while other duties may be assigned:
+ Global Project Management: Lead or assist with global HR projects such as Sustainability, Acquisitions, HCM Integration, and talent management initiatives, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
+ Compliance & Risk Management: Maintain global HR policies and ensure compliance with international labor laws and regulations. Oversee documentation such as Code of Conduct and Non-Compete agreements.
+ HR Metrics & Analytics: Collaborate with HR leadership and analysts to develop and analyze HR data, providing insights and action plans to improve efficiency and inform strategic decisions across regions.
+ Talent Development & Succession Planning: Support global employee development programs, performance management, and succession planning in partnership with regional HR leaders.
+ Operational Excellence: Streamline HR processes globally, ensuring consistency while respecting regional differences and cultural nuances.
+ Confidentiality & Professionalism: Handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain the highest level of integrity.
+ Strategic Support & Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the VP of HR, managing calendars, meetings, and communications while serving as a bridge between global HR leadership and regional partners.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Masters preferred).
+ 5+ years of HR experience, including exposure to global or multi-regional environments.
+ Professional certifications (PHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) preferred.
+ Strong understanding of HR principles, compliance, and best practices across diverse regions.
+ Proficiency in HRIS/HCM systems, data analytics, and Microsoft Office Suite.
+ Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
