    What you’ll need to succeed as a Total Rewards Intern at XPO

    Minimum qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent and currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree

    + 2 or more years of relevant coursework

    + Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

    Preferred qualifications:

    + Education toward a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, or a related field

    + Completed 1 HR internship, Compensation, or Benefits

    + Intermediate knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, formulas) and SharePoint

    + Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    + Strong analytical, organizational, and multitasking skills

    + Energetic work style with a strong drive to succeed

    + Self-motivated instincts with the ability to work well independently or in a team environment and consult with team members/management as needed

     

    About the Total Rewards Intern job

    What you’ll do on a typical day:

    + Support the Total Rewards team in compensation and benefits projects

    + Assist with compensation survey data collection, analysis, and reporting

    + Help prepare materials for annual compensation cycles and benefits enrollment

    + Participate in benchmarking and market pricing activities

    + Contribute to the development and communication of compensation and benefits policies

    + Support audits and compliance activities related to pay and benefits

    + Assist with employee inquiries regarding compensation and benefits

    + Serve as a key contributor to projects that impact the business and solve real problems

    + Complete other duties and special projects as assigned
