Job Description:
Parsons is seeking a talented **Lead Software Engineer** to join our growing Ground Management and Integrations team! In this role you will be leading our full-stack software development team, which is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the many diverse software applications that are essential to this mission.
As the Lead Engineer you will need strong technical expertise (SDLC, architecture, coding languages) and proven leadership skills (communication, mentoring, and project management) to deliver complex software solutions in an Agile environment. You should be able to problem-solve and work within a highly collaborative team environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
+ Deconstruct requirements into manageable tasking and implementing software enhancements
+ Identify innovative solutions for redundant manual workflows and lead automation implementation
+ Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure CI/CD is in place
+ Participate in development and execution of critical development program gate reviews including SRR/SDR, PDR, CDR, TRRs and QPMRs
+ Identify program risks with actional mitigation strategies
+ Support business rhythm for baseline management, monthly reporting, status and communication for Earned Value Management
+ Participating in technical discussions to assist in near- and long-term planning
+ Mentoring, guiding, and managing development team
+ Providing technical support for a team of engineers and our customers
+ Presenting information using data visualization techniques
Required Clearance:
+ Candidate must possess an **ACTIVE** Secret Clearance
+ Candidate must be willing and able to obtain/maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
+ A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or the equivalent, with 10+ years of relevant experience
+ Proven ability to manage and motivate teams, delegate tasks and promote cross functional collaboration.
+ Ability to management multiple priorities.
+ Knowledge of Earned Value Management System and reporting
+ Deep understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum, and ability to mentor teams in their adoption and execution
+ Aerospace Quality AS9100
+ Experience with object-oriented programming languages, specifically Python, Java, and/or C++ Experience with revision control in Git, CI/CD environments and containerized development
+ Ability to analyze technical issues and come up with potential solutions
+ Ability to adapt to changing technologies
+ Sense of urgency, with ability to work well under pressure
What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
+ Active TS/SCI
+ Front and back-end app development
+ Knowledge and practical application of MBSE SySML to create software designs
+ Experience with Kubernetes
+ Aerospace background supporting satellite, spacecraft or launch vehicle ground/mission operations
+ Security+ Certification
Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Secret security clearance is required to apply, however, the selected candidate must be able to obtain a Top Secret SCI clearance prior to the start date.

Salary Range: $120,800.00 - $217,400.00
