Our customers include small to large corporations, institutions, government agencies and consumers across North America.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish the enterprise data governance framework, roadmap, and policies.
• Define data governance objectives, priorities, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Operationalize governance policies, standards, and best practices across the business.
• Establish governance structures, roles, and responsibilities to support effective data stewardship and accountability.
• Ensure adherence to audit and control requirements and minimize data-related risks.
• Work with data owners, stewards, IT, and business leaders to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Responsible for the identification of data quality rules and metrics, collaborating with necessary teams to remediate and address root causes.
• Establish data dictionaries, glossaries, and cataloging tools to facilitate metadata discovery and documentation.
• Promote understanding and proper use of data across the organization.
• Develop, hire, and manage Data Governance team.
Competencies and skills
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
• Strong background in data management, data quality, data security, and regulatory compliance.
• Demonstrated functional understanding of key processes creating or consuming data and the ability to determine the interrelationships across the enterprise.
• Ability to influence, lead cross-functional teams, and manage complex programs.
• Understanding of data architecture, databases, and data governance tools.
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving to address data challenges.
• CDMP or CIMP certification highly desired.
• Excellent communication to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
The base pay range for this position will be 160,000 to 200,000 annually. The exact pay will be determined by multiple factors unique to each individual, including years of experience, certifications, and the specific location of the job. Rates may vary in other areas due to differing labor costs.
