Our client is seeking a Tech Lead-Principal Engineer to join their team. As a Tech Lead-Principal Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the development and maintenance of core policy administration systems. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Tech Lead-Principal Engineer

**Location:** Glen Allen, Virginia (3 days hybrid)

What's the Job?

+ Act as the technical leader, guiding design discussions and architectural decisions.

+ Provide hands-on full-stack development in a Microsoft-focused environment.

+ Mentor and coach engineers, raising the overall engineering bar.

+ Collaborate with business and technical leaders to align solutions with organizational goals.

+ Champion best practices in code quality, testing, and modern engineering standards.

What's Needed?

+ Proven experience as a Principal Engineer or similar technical leadership role.

+ Strong full-stack engineering skills with emphasis on Angular and .NET.

+ Deep understanding of Azure cloud services and deployment strategies.

+ Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases (SQL Server, Cosmos DB).

+ Demonstrated ability to influence, collaborate, and lead engineering teams.
