As a **Security Officer – Hospital Full Time** in **Natrona Heights, PA** , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned hospital areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while remaining highly visible to staff, patients, and visitors. What You'll Do:

+ Provide customer service to clients, following security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed within a healthcare setting.

+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.

+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for unusual conditions.

+ Report and document any security-related incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity encountered during patrols.

+ Assist staff, visitors, and/or patients by providing directions and responding to inquiries in a courteous manner.

+ Support access control procedures to help to deter unauthorized entry into restricted areas.

+ Collaborate with Allied Universal management and healthcare facility staff to address security-related concerns as they arise.

Minimum Requirements:

+ Vaccination is required for work at this hospital site.

+ Work may involve duties in the hospital morgue.

+ Must be able to restrain individuals as required in a hospital setting.

+ X-ray screening experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

+ A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
