Our client, a leader in hardware reliability and mechanical simulation, is seeking a **Mechanical Engineer 2** to join their team. As a **Mechanical Engineer 2** , you will be part of the Reliability Engineering Department supporting hardware testing and simulation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, effective communication, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer 2

Pay Range:** **$40.37 - $44.35 on Experis W2 (Benefits/PTO)

What's the Job?

+ Build and run Finite Element Analysis (FEA) models using Abaqus/Ansys to support hardware reliability projects

+ Import geometries, create meshes, set up simulations, and interpret results independently

+ Propose design or process modifications based on analysis outcomes to improve product durability

+ Conduct various simulations including drop, vibration, thermal, and thermo-mechanical performance assessments

+ Perform Design of Experiments (DOE) and sensitivity analyses to optimize component designs

What's Needed?

+ Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with FEA in a professional setting

+ Proficiency with Abaqus, Ansys, or similar engineering simulation software

+ Strong understanding of mechanics, thermal engineering, and material modeling

+ Experience with CAD software and meshing techniques

+ Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Mechanics, or a related field
