Our client, a leading enterprise in the financial services industry, is seeking a Senior Java Developer (Engineer 5 - Contingent) to join their dynamic team. As a Senior Java Developer (Engineer 5 - Contingent), you will be part of the Software Engineering Department supporting innovative backend and frontend development initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

+ Build and support modern Java microservices using Spring Boot 3 and Java 17, ensuring scalable and reliable REST APIs.

+ Implement security protocols utilizing Spring Security 6 to safeguard enterprise applications.

+ Collaborate with UI teams to develop and enhance enterprise-grade Angular 16 interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.

+ Deploy applications to enterprise/cloud environments such as Tomcat, JBoss, and WebSphere, maintaining high availability and performance.

+ Contribute to Agile development processes and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and SonarQube to streamline deployment and testing.

What's Needed?

+ 7+ years of engineering experience with a focus on backend development, microservices architecture, and enterprise deployment.

+ Proficiency in Java 17, Spring Boot 3, Spring Security 6, and related Spring ecosystem components.

+ Hands-on experience with Angular 16, HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES6+), and responsive UI design.

+ Strong knowledge of Oracle 12c, Hibernate/JPA, and enterprise deployment platforms such as Tomcat, JBoss, or WebSphere.

+ Familiarity with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes/OpenShift), and cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
