Our client, a leader in higher education, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Financial Aid Call Representative to join their team. As a Financial Aid Call Representative, you will be an essential part of the Financial Aid department supporting students and families through their financial aid journey. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, patience, and a proactive attitude, which will enable you to thrive in this supportive environment.
**Job Title:** Financial Aid Call Representative-Higher Education
**Location:** New York, NY 10003
**Pay Range:** $28-32hr
Duration 4 months ( January 26** **th** **2026 thru May 8** **th** **2026)
Monday - Friday except holidays, 9:45am - 4:15pm
(6.5 hours minus 1 hour lunch=5.5 hours per day )
What's the Job?
+ Provide phone coverage for the Office of Financial Aid, responding to student and parent inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
+ Assist students and families in navigating NYU's Albert Student Center regarding To Do list items or holds impacting their financial aid and disbursement.
+ Guide families through the federal application process on Studentaid.gov, ensuring they understand each step and requirements.
+ Coordinate with various offices to ensure students receive accurate and timely responses to their financial aid questions.
+ Follow FERPA guidelines to maintain the confidentiality and security of student information, exercising good judgment and discretion at all times.
