    Our client, a leading manufacturer in the transportation industry, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Mechanical Assembler to join their team. As an Electrical Mechanical Assembler, you will be part of the Production Department supporting the assembly of light rail vehicles, locomotives, and coaches. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

     

    **Job Title:** Electrical Mechanical Assembler

    **Location:** Sacramento, CA

     

    Pay Range: $21.00/hour + 10% Differential for 2nd Shift

     

    **Shift:** Mon-Fri 5am-1:30pm or 2pm-10:30pm; occasional Sat overtime is required

     

    What's the Job?

     

    + Build mechanical sub-assemblies and wire harness assemblies used in light rail vehicle production

    + Connect wires between components, terminals, and contact points following wiring diagrams

    + Cut, route, twist, and secure wires to specified lengths and positions

    + Disassemble, modify, refurbish, and reassemble components as needed

    + Perform electro-mechanical tasks including installing cable harnesses, electrical subassemblies, and mechanical parts

     

    What's Needed?

     

    + High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; minimum 1 year experience in manufacturing or related environments

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and parts lists

    + Experience with hand and power tools

    + Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds

    + Strong attention to safety standards and quality workmanship
