Our client, a leader in medical device manufacturing, is seeking an Instruments Test Tech to join their team. As an Instruments Test Tech, you will be part of the production operations supporting the manufacturing and testing of sophisticated instruments. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Instruments Test Tech

**Location:** Sparks Glencoe, MD

**Pay Range:** $24.18

**Shift:** 7:00 a, - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

+ Perform production assembly operations and complete system analysis, testing, and performance optimization of instruments.

+ Conduct basic electrical, mechanical, or software troubleshooting to identify issues with test equipment.

+ Analyze test results and data to determine pass/fail status and provide solutions for failures.

+ Identify defects and recommend design or process improvements to enhance instrument performance.

+ Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in process optimization and quality assurance activities.

What's Needed?

+ High school diploma or GED with 3.5 years of manufacturing experience or an AA technical degree with relevant skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards.

+ Proficiency in mechanical tools and basic troubleshooting techniques.

+ Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

+ Effective communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
