Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Preparer to join our client's team in Brea, California. In this role, you will focus on preparing individual tax returns with efficiency and accuracy while ensuring compliance with all relevant tax regulations. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review individual income tax returns with precision and attention to detail.

• Ensure all tax filings comply with current legal requirements and regulations.

• Utilize Lacerte Tax Software to streamline the tax preparation process.

• Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation.

• Analyze tax data to identify potential deductions and credits.

• Address client inquiries regarding their tax filings in a detail-oriented manner.

• Assist in resolving any discrepancies or issues related to tax filings.

• Work efficiently to meet deadlines during peak tax seasons.

• Provide support to the team in improving processes and accuracy.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in preparing individual tax returns.

• Strong proficiency in using Lacerte Tax Software.

• Solid understanding of income tax regulations and compliance.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients professionally.

• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

• Active tax preparer license or certification is a plus.

• Familiarity with identifying deductions and credits for tax optimization.
