Job Title: Electrical Superintendent

Job Description

We are seeking a Lead Electrical Superintendent with exceptional computer skills and expertise in Switchgears and UPS systems related to Data Centers. The role requires traveling between project locations in Mississippi and Chicago. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the electrical field and a history working with Data Centers.

Responsibilities

+ Thoroughly understand and manage the project schedule and overall scope.

+ Assist in maintaining the project schedule daily through Touch plan.

+ Collaborate with the Project Scheduler to develop a progress schedule with the Project Manager.

+ Prepare and distribute daily logs using Procore.

+ Coordinate and schedule necessary inspections.

+ Prepare agendas for regular construction meetings.

+ Enforce site safety, security, and visitor access protocols.

+ Ensure quality and workmanship of finished products.

+ Develop and maintain a Site Utilization plan.

+ Maintain a phone log.

+ Prepare pre-punch list items.

+ Collaborate with the Project Site Engineer to load all pertinent project information on Procore.

+ Provide site safety training and enforce safety compliance on the project site.

+ Conduct weekly Tool talks.

+ Secure any required hot work permits for the project.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with Data Centers.

+ Strong leadership skills for managing teams.

+ Very strong computer skills.

+ Expertise in electrical construction and project management.

+ Troubleshooting capabilities.

+ Familiarity with commercial construction, Procore, and OSHA regulations.

+ Mechanical and substation knowledge.

+ Blueprint reading and subcontractor management skills.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Electrical history is preferred.

+ Experience as a site supervisor or in a management role.

+ Proficient computer skills.

+ Ability to read and interpret schedules.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Beneficial to have a data center history.

+ Willingness to travel is helpful.

+ Strong safety attitude.

+ 5 or more years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

This position requires on-site presence in both Chicago and Mississippi, with travel expected between the two locations. Employees will receive travel and expense coverage, including hotel accommodations. Benefits include a 401k plan, two weeks of PTO, dental/vision/medical coverage, a $60 cell phone reimbursement, and 10 paid holidays.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FAIRFAX, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $135000.00/hr.
