Now Hiring: Construction Inspector: Water & Wastewater Infrastructure (NYC)

We’re seeking a Construction Inspector to support major water and wastewater treatment facility projects across NYC. In this role, you will be the eyes and ears of the Construction Management (CM) team, providing accurate field insight, ensuring quality and compliance, and contributing directly to the successful delivery of essential public works.
What You’ll Do
As a Construction Inspector, you will be on the front lines of project execution. Your work ensures that construction is performed safely, correctly, and in alignment with the project’s technical standards.
Your responsibilities include:
+ Reviewing drawings, specifications, and work plans
+ Conducting on-site observation, monitoring, inspection, and evaluation of construction activities
+ Observing, documenting, and reporting on contractor performance
+ Preparing detailed daily reports, verifying material quantities, and managing time & material records
+ Maintaining accurate redlines and field documentation
+ Coordinating closely with CM teams and other project stakeholders
+ Assisting with project start-up and supporting field operations throughout the project lifecycle
This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and critical to the integrity and success of every project you touch.

Qualifications
To excel in this role, you’ll need:
+ 7+ years of construction or construction observation experience
+ Familiarity with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical systems
+ Willingness to travel throughout the NYC metro area
+ Experience with municipal water/wastewater projects preferred
+ BS or Associate Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Construction Science (preferred, not required)

Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of New York, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $104000.00 - $174000.00/yr.
