Job Title: Survey Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Survey Project Manager to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of land surveying projects. This role oversees field and office activities, manages project teams, and ensures high‑quality survey deliverables are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support discipline leadership with planning and executing survey projects

+ Manage staff assignments and supervise field operations

+ Coordinate preparation and refinement of field scopes, survey data, data reduction, project plans, and final deliverables

+ Review drafting and CAD production; prepare survey maps, proposals, and reports

+ Assist with scheduling, task development, and project budgeting

+ Prepare progress reports, draft change orders, and support billing and payment tracking

+ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to budgets, timelines, and quality standards

+ Review and analyze reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and aerial photographs to determine project approach

+ Perform office tasks including CAD drafting, data downloads, deed and map research, and documentation

+ Collect field data using survey equipment and software as needed

+ Assist with survey control recovery, monumentation, construction layout, subsurface utility data collection, and project photo documentation

Essential Skills

+ 5+ years of experience in surveying, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D

+ Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D

+ Experience with drafting, land record research, and business development

Additional Qualifications

+ NY State Survey License

+ PLS (Professional Land Surveyor) certification preferred

Work Environment

A blend of office and field work involving CAD drafting, data analysis, and hands‑on surveying tasks. This role requires strong project oversight capabilities, the ability to manage multiple deadlines, and effective collaboration with team members to ensure accurate and timely project outcomes.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of White Plains, NY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
