Job Title: 1st Shift Warehouse.
Job Description
Join a dynamic distribution company specializing in the manufacturing of automotive parts as a long-term Shipping Clerk/Warehouse Worker. This role demands flexibility with start times ranging from 6:30 AM until 2 PM or 3 PM.
Responsibilities
+ Receive and restock inventory, and manage dispatch and overstock.
+ Load and unload materials from trucks efficiently.
+ Break down boxes and package items for shipment.
+ Utilize order rolling stairs, pickers, and RF scanners to fulfill orders.
+ Assist Warehouse Supervisors as needed.
+ Package items for shipment meticulously.
+ Pick orders utilizing stairs to access materials for the automotive industry, with rolling stairs ranging from 7 to 15 steps.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in using RF scanners and pickers.
+ Experience with pallet jacks, loading, unloading, order picking, and managing warehouse inventory.
+ Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
+ Comfortable utilizing rolling safety ladders and occasionally a 15 ft stair ladder for shipping.
+ Ability to speak, read, and write English.
+ Capability to stand, walk, sit, push, pull, and reach with hands and arms.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, or squat as required.
+ Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and working independently.

Work Environment
The work environment is typically loud due to the operation of forklifts and machinery. Employees will work 1st shift, Monday through Friday, with mandatory overtime of up to 2 hours daily and occasional Saturdays. Start times are flexible between 5:30 AM or 6:30 AM until 2 PM or 3 PM. The dress code includes plain shirts, jeans without holes, and closed-toed shoes.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brea, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
