Job Title: General Labor** **Job Description
We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as general laborers in a unionized food manufacturing facility. This role involves multiple non-skilled tasks essential for maintaining operations and ensuring product quality. You will be responsible for building totes, monitoring product lines, sifting product packaging, and cleaning various areas. Candidates will receive training for a variety of roles as needed.
Responsibilities
+ Build totes to house products.
+ Monitor the product line to ensure quality and prevent bottlenecks.
+ Sift product in packages to ensure proper distribution.
+ Clean areas within the facility.
+ Adhere to all GMP requirements, including wearing hair nets, tyvek/lab coats, and provided safety gear.
+ Leave boots on site at all times.
Essential Skills
+ Manufacturing or industrial background.
+ Ability to lift 20 lbs consistently.
+ Attention to detail and the ability to perform repetitive tasks.
+ Compliance with GMP and safety standards, including wearing protective gear.
+ No piercings, fake nails, fake eyelashes, or jewelry due to GMP requirements.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical aptitude or ability is a plus.
+ Capability to pass a mechanical aptitude test for direct hire consideration.

Work Environment
Work in a large, clean food manufacturing facility that requires strict adherence to cleanliness standards. This is a smoke-free environment, prohibiting smoking on the grounds or in vehicles. Shifts available are Monday-Friday from 7 AM to 3 PM, with slight variations, and a third shift from Sunday to Thursday, 10:30 PM to 7 AM. Employees will receive a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Scheduled cleaning times occur every six weeks, during which employees are off and may apply for unemployment benefits.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Toledo, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr.
