    Job Title: Warehouse Worker

    Job Description

    As a Warehouse Worker, you will be engaged in dynamic tasks that involve standing and moving for the entirety of 8-hour shifts. Utilizing handheld devices such as RF Scan Guns, you will input and code information necessary for work orders and part numbers. A willingness to learn is essential, and those with at least 6 months of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment will excel in this role. Please note that the work environment is not climate-controlled.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate handheld devices like RF Scan Guns to enter and code information.

    + Stand and move on your feet for the entire 8-hour shift.

    + Push, pull, and lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.

    + Work efficiently in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse environment.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6 months experience in a warehouse or distribution environment.

    + Experience in manufacturing or equivalent for at least 6 months.

    + Ability to pass a math and matching numbers test with a score of 70% or higher.

    + Proficiency in using warehouse management systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in shipping, receiving, general labor, sorting, picker/packer roles.

    + Familiarity with inventory control processes.

    Work Environment

     

    The warehouse is located onsite at a large facility and is not climate-controlled. Workers are required to wear jeans and safety/composite toe shoes or boots, which can be purchased at local stores. The role requires flexibility with working hours, including potential weekend, night, and overtime shifts.

     

    Pay breakdown: 1st: $16.50/hr, off shifts $17/hr-2nd, $17.50-3rd shift

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $17.50/hr.
