Hiring a Machine Operator / Utility Worker in Middletown, PA!

Job Description

Join our team as a General Laborer in a dynamic production environment where you will engage in essential tasks such as manufacturing large garage door springs for commercial buildings, wrapping, packing, lifting, feeding products into ovens, cleaning materials, and fitting springs.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and measure materials using a tape measure with precision up to 1/16 of an inch.

+ Lift materials weighing up to 80 lbs.

+ Multi-task effectively in a fast-paced setting.

+ Engage in various general labor tasks including production and assembly duties.

Essential Skills

+ Experience using a tape measure accurately to 1/16 of an inch.

+ Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

+ Proficiency in multi-tasking.

+ Experience with production, hand tools, and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Must be comfortable working in a non-climate controlled environment.

Work Environment

Work in a production environment that is not climate controlled, often dirty, very hot, and physically demanding. The team consists of 8 individuals with tenure ranging from 5 to 25 years. The dress code includes jeans and company-provided t-shirts/sweatshirts, with no sweat pants allowed. Steel-toe shoes are not necessary. The shift runs from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a half-hour lunch break.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Middletown, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $20.00/hr.
