    Job Title: CNC Mill Operator** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a CNC Mill Operator for a dynamic 3rd shift position. You will start with a competitive hourly rate, including a shift premium, and receive comprehensive training on the job. The working hours are from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am, Sunday night through Wednesday night, following a four 10-hour day schedule. While there is potential for pay increases once hired directly, this is not guaranteed.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload machines efficiently and accurately.

    + Operate CNC mills and lathes with precision.

    + Use manual measuring tools such as micrometers and calipers effectively.

    + Participate in training sessions to become proficient in machine operations.

    + Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.

    + Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing as a machine operator within the last 3-5 years.

    + Ability to read and interpret micrometers and calipers.

    + Strong work history with a focus on reliability and attention to detail.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with CNC mill and lathe operations, or automated/manual grinding is a plus.

    + Acme experience is a bonus.

    + Familiarity with Sheffield gauges and experience with Cincinnati and Norton machines is advantageous.

    + Prior experience in a plastics setting with attention to detail is welcomed.

    Work Environment

    Work in a clean manufacturing environment where safety is the top priority. The facility operates on a 4-day, 10-hour schedule, with occasional adjustments due to production demands. This position is primarily for the 3rd shift, which runs from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am. The company manufactures pins for transmissions and semi-trailers and maintains a strong focus on both safety and attendance.

    This is a Contract position based out of Millington, MI.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr.
