Job Title: Structural Welder (Nights)

Job Description

Join a dynamic manufacturing company near Katy as a Structural Welder, where you will be responsible for welding small to large skid units. You will utilize 1G-4G welding processes with MIG and flux core techniques on both carbon and stainless steel. Additionally, you will interpret blueprints and adjust the welding machine to ensure precision and quality.

Responsibilities

+ Perform structural welding using MIG and flux core processes on carbon and stainless steel.

+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately to execute welding tasks.

+ Adjust welding machines to meet specific job requirements.

+ Ensure quality and precision in welding tasks.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of structural welding experience.

+ 4+ years of experience with MIG and flux core welding.

+ Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in structural fitting is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a fast-paced production shop with a team of 30 employees in the fabrication bay. The shop is non-air-conditioned. The night shift runs from 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM, with scheduled 10-hour shifts, five days a week, and optional Saturdays. Opportunities for overtime with 12-hour shifts are available based on production demands.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Katy, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $28.00/hr.
