    Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist** **Job Description

     

    Join our team as a CNC Mill Machinist where you will be setting up and operating 2-3 CNC machines at a time within your work cell. You will be working with CNC Mills, including Mori Seki and Doosan, and utilizing Fanuc controls. Your role will involve blueprint reading, program editing, and completing tooling changes to ensure precision and quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate CNC Mills, including Mori Seki and Doosan.

    + Indicate parts during the setup process and work from blueprints, tooling instructions, and work instructions.

    + Operate multiple machines simultaneously.

    + Maintain documentation and perform program edits and tooling changes.

    + Compute data such as dimensions, rotation speeds, feed rates, and machining times.

    + Collaborate with supervisors, programmers, engineers, and support teams to resolve issues.

    + Rotate between various department work centers as required.

    + Load and unload component piece parts weighing up to 25 lbs.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 4+ years of CNC Milling experience.

    + Ability to read and edit G&M codes.

    + Proficiency in blueprint reading.

    + Experience in performing full sets on machines.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + CNC programming experience is a plus.

    + CNC schooling or certification is advantageous.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes a shop with CNC Mills, grinders, a full manual machining department, a small quality department, and a deburring department. The shift starts at 5 a.m. or 6 a.m., depending on overtime, and ends at 2:30 p.m. The company is heavily focused on the aerospace market and manufactures high-quality, custom precision spur and helical gearing and gearboxes. The facility offers in-house heat treating, gear cutting, and grinding capabilities, ensuring the highest level of precision for demanding applications.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $56160.00 - $68640.00/yr.
