Job Title: Reach Truck Operator** **Job Description

As a Reach Truck Operator, you will be responsible for operating reach trucks to efficiently perform putaways and pick items in a cold storage facility. You will handle various tasks such as using RF scanners, breaking down pallets, moving skids, and utilizing a computer system to complete and build orders. This role involves working in a cold storage environment, where temperatures are maintained at 30 degrees.

Responsibilities

+ Operate standup reach truck forklifts for putaways and order picking.

+ Utilize RF scanners for inventory management.

+ Break down pallets and move skids as necessary.

+ Print orders and use computer systems to complete and build orders.

+ Stage, wrap, and pick items off the forklift when required.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience operating standup reach truck forklifts.

+ Proficiency in performing putaways and picking orders.

+ Experience in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Ability to work efficiently in a cold storage environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Bilingual skills are a plus.

+ Familiarity with warehouse shipping and receiving processes.

Work Environment

This role is based in a cold storage warehouse, with inventory bays for storing items. The facility is maintained at 30 degrees, and the company provides jackets, gloves, bibs, and suits for comfort. Employees have the freedom to wear their own hoodies, jackets, and hats.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lyons, IL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
