Job Title: Warehouse Administrator
Job Description
The Warehouse Administrator will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our distribution center. Working within a team of approximately 30 employees, the candidate will be responsible for receiving and shipping supplies to local hubs that support subcontractors working on offsite projects.
Responsibilities
+ Receive incoming goods, verify quantities against purchase orders and packing slips, and ensure proper storage of goods.
+ Track inventory levels, update records, and identify potential shortages or surpluses.
+ Process customer orders, prepare shipping paperwork such as bills of lading and packing slips, and ensure orders are packaged correctly.
+ Schedule pickups, coordinate with shipping carriers, and track shipments.
+ Communicate with vendors, customers, and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
+ Maintain accurate records of shipments, including dates, costs, and tracking numbers.
+ Address issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory, such as damage, shortages, or delays.
+ Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy in shipping and receiving processes.
Essential Skills
+ Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
+ Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in inventory records, shipment paperwork, and order fulfillment.
+ Effective communication skills with vendors, customers, and internal departments.
+ Understanding of inventory control principles and practices.
+ Problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues related to shipping, receiving, or inventory.
+ Basic computer software skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, with willingness to train on the job.
+ Knowledge of shipping and receiving processes, including procedures, documentation requirements, and relevant regulations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Comfortable lifting up to 40 lbs; heavier items will be handled with assistance.
+ Experience or willingness to learn how to use an RF scanner.
+ Experience in warehouse inventory management, scheduling appointments, and providing customer service support.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Antioch, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
