    Job Title: Forklift Operator

     

    Pay: $18 an hour

     

    Shift: 1st and 2nd shift

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team where you will be accountable for accurately loading and securing out-bound shipments of freight. As a Forklift Operator, you will unload and check the accuracy of in-bound freight, store materials according to company procedures, and accurately prepare paperwork for outbound shipments, including bills of lading.

    Responsibilities

    + Accurately load and secure outbound shipments of freight.

    + Unload and verify the accuracy of inbound freight.

    + Store materials following organizational procedures.

    + Prepare paperwork for outbound freight shipments, including bills of lading, and file paperwork properly.

    + Clean areas after removing racks.

    + Collaborate and communicate closely with the Service Center Supervisor and Area Marketing Manager regarding orders and materials to be shipped and received.

    + Assist the Service Center Supervisor with office procedures, including taking customer calls, processing orders, and checking inventory.

    + Conduct cycle inventory counts for customers using the computer system.

    + Work hours as required by business necessity, such as during emergency storm situations or as instructed by the Service Center Supervisor or Area Marketing Manager.

    + Attend required meetings or training sessions as needed or instructed by leadership.

    Essential Skills

    + 1 year of warehouse experience.

    + Forklift license or ability to acquire and maintain the license.

    + Proficiency in forklift operation.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with cleaning tasks.

    + Ability to assist with office procedures and customer service.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
