Job Title: Utility Worker

Job Description

The Utility Worker position involves learning to operate equipment associated with extrusion or tube mill processes, handling aluminum products, and contributing to the production team. Successful candidates will start in a utility role and receive extensive training to operate, support, and move materials using lifting techniques and hoists.

Responsibilities

+ Operate and assist in the operation of extrusion or casting equipment.

+ Ensure all quality objectives are met and report unusual conditions to lead operators or supervisors.

+ Support the Tube Mill operations and work different shifts than the extrusion department.

+ Interact with team members and management to meet daily production goals.

+ Perform tasks such as machine operating, quality control, packing, and inspecting.

Essential Skills

+ 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing or related fields.

+ Mechanical aptitude and machine operating experience.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Chesterfield, VA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.31 - $20.31/hr.
