    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled **TIG Welder** to perform high‑quality TIG welding on stainless steel 14/12‑gauge sheet metal and piping ranging from 2 3/8" diameter to 3/8", utilizing gas purge protection. This role includes setting up components and welding equipment controls, working from drawings or work instructions, and conducting detailed inspections of specified surfaces. The ideal candidate will use appropriate tools to contour weld parts to meet tolerance requirements and contribute recommendations for production process improvements. This position pays **$20–$25/hr** , depending on experience.

     

    Schedule

     

    1st Shift: Monday–Thursday, 5:30 AM – 4:00 PM

     

    Pay: $20-$25/hr

    Responsibilities

    + Perform TIG welding on stainless steel 14/12‑gauge sheet metal and piping using gas purge protection

    + Set up components and welding equipment controls

    + Work from drawings and/or work instructions to prepare parts for welding

    + Locate and measure from correct surfaces, providing accurate inspection details

    + Use suitable tools to contour weld parts to meet tolerance configuration requirements

    + Provide recommendations for production process improvements

    + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment as assigned

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in stainless steel TIG welding

    + Ability to weld using a foot pedal

    + Strong experience with stainless steel fabrication

    + Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions

    + Experience working with sheet metal and piping

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Solid understanding of fabrication processes

    + Ability to identify and recommend process improvements

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Oviedo, FL.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
