Job Title: Manual Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist for our local shop. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the manual machining of all parts and must have experience with a Horizontal Boring Mill (HBM).
Responsibilities
+ Set up and operate a wide variety of machine tools to perform on-site machine work and repairs.
+ Execute machining operations in accordance with approved company procedures.
+ Perform repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting on various mechanical equipment.
+ Maintain and repair a variety of valves, pumps, compressors, motors, engines, turbines, generators, and other rotating and fixed equipment.
+ Coordinate and perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of equipment as needed.
+ Work in the proximity of various electrical circuits and machinery in various conditions.
+ Perform machining services on-site, including pump repairs, tool fabrication, inspection of various parts, documentation of findings and repairs, ordering parts, drilling and tapping, milling motor or pump bases, line boring, machinery setup, and rigging.
Pay/Shift: $35+++ 1st Shift M-F
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisburg, PA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $34.00/hr.
