Job Description
We are seeking an experienced individual to lead civil, commercial, and industrial concrete projects. This role combines team leadership with hands-on fieldwork and requires strong communication, organization, and craftsmanship. Motivated individuals with leadership potential and a desire to grow are encouraged to apply. This is a M-F travel position. The company travels throughout Iowa and southern Minnesota. Company paid travel expenses.

Responsibilities
+ Lead and motivate concrete crews of up to 10 team members.
+ Promote a positive, safety-focused work environment.
+ Interpret construction drawings and specifications.
+ Plan and schedule labor, equipment, materials, and concrete placements.
+ Assign daily tasks and ensure quality and production standards.
+ Perform hands-on concrete work, including layout, forming, reinforcement, pouring, and finishing.
+ Coordinate with management and other trades.
+ Document labor hours, equipment usage, materials, and production rates.
+ Operate construction equipment and material-handling tools.
+ Maintain clean and organized jobsites, trucks, and trailers.
+ Use robotic total stations and/or GPS systems, preferred but not required.
Essential Skills
+ 5+ years of civil, commercial, or industrial concrete experience OR a construction-related degree plus 2 years of field experience.
+ Strong foundation and flatwork experience.
+ Prior Lead Finisher experience preferred.
+ Strong leadership and crew management skills.
+ Ability to lift, push, pull 50+ pounds.
+ Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
+ Comfortable adapting to changing job assignments.
+ Strong communication, organization, and basic math skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ CDL A/B encouraged but not mandatory.
+ Pre-hire drug screening required.

This is a Contract position based out of Waterloo, IA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $42.00/hr.
