Job Summary
Routine custodial service functions within the facility
Primary Duties
+ Design and prepare 2D & 3D facility layout plans for Continuous Improvement (CI) & Lean Six Sigma (LSS) projects utilizing CAD software.
+ Work with OPEX team and facility leadership to produce effective models for evaluation & comparison.
+ Specify dimensions for materials & model various capacities based on overall layout.
+ Prepare multiple versions of design for review by site leadership, OPEX team, process owners, & contractors.
+ Be flexible & innovative in design process & able to quickly problem solve from different approaches.
+ Work under the supervision & direction of site OPEX leadership.
+ Communicate with, manage, & supervise contractors. Regularly attend project update meetings & brief senior leadership on progress.
+ Perform any other duties and tasks associated with continuous improvement.
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Key Accountabilities:
+ Drafting Knowledge & technical competence: Demonstrates understanding of required techniques, skills, & procedures of drafting. Understand & identifies issues associated with internal problems.
+ Attention to detail & high work standards: Sets & maintains high performance standards. Pays close attention to detail with high levels of accuracy
+ Reliability: Personally responsible & completes work based on deadlines & in a timely manner
+ Flexibility: remains open-minded & changes opinions on the basis of new information
+ Problem solving: anticipates problems & can readily interpret how solutions will affect other units; gathers information before making decision; weighs alternatives against objectives and arrives at reasonable decision
Qualifications:
+ Excellent ability in AutoCAD & ability interpret & analyze business needs.
+ Other drafting tool experience such as CATIA, Solid Edge, or Google SkechUp
+ General understanding of LEAN tools & practices.
+ Ability to utilize LEAN tools to problem solve utilizing 8 step problem solving.
+ Experience navigating SAP tables & replicated tables (SE16N)
+ Ability to multitask
+ Mature approach to problem solving & performs assigned tasks efficiency, accurately & with minimal supervision
+ NCRC Testing
+ Microsoft Office Suite – moderate proficiency
+ Physical Requirement: Capability to lift 45 pounds.
+ Working Conditions: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to reach, swivel, carry items from one building to another, and speak and actively listen. Noise level is usually moderate.
Education / Experience
+ High school degree required; college degree preferred
+ 2-3 years AutoCAD experience

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $0.00 to $0.00. This role is also eligible for a bonus. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
