    ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Position Summary:

    Service Assistants are responsible for delivering the OTG guest experience by ensuring OTG occupied areas, including markets and restaurants, look clean, neat, and presentable to the public. By performing a variety of basic maintenance tasks, an OTG Service Assistant can help uphold the image of the facility.

    Responsibilities :

    + General cleaning of the Markets and Restaurants by keeping it maintained and in good condition.

    + Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.

    + Cleaning and Maintaining stock in an organized and clean fashion

    + Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.

    + Perform Covid safety procedures by sanitizing surfaces

    + Notify supervisors or managers of major cleaning jobs.

    + Collect and dispose of trash from the restaurants and markets.

    + Complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision.

    + Keep cleaning supplies in stock.

    + Work with a contract cleaning service when necessary.

    + Cleans, sanitizes, and organizes the storeroom including shelving, floors, lights, and vents

    + Maintain knowledge of airport terminal and restaurants

    + Other duties, as assigned

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    + Ability to read invoices and count product

    + Must obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalent within 30 days of being hired

    + Knowledge of FIFO (First In, First Out) guidelines

    + Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and up to 85 lbs. on occasion

    + Ability to climb ladders to store and retrieve product

    + Ability to pull/push product cart

    + Must be mobile and able to stand for extended periods, to stoop, kneel, and crouch

    + Must be available to work varied hours/days, including nights, weekends, holidays, and bad weather conditions--must be flexible
