    Job Title: Logistics AdministratorJob Description

     

    We are seeking two dedicated Logistics Coordinator Administrators to join our team and support the Fleet & Assets Director. This project-based role is pivotal in managing the flow of goods, handling documentation, scheduling, and tracking shipments. You will be coordinating with carriers and suppliers, resolving issues, and ensuring accuracy from order to delivery. Our focus is on efficiency, cost control, and fostering strong communication between production, sales, and distribution to meet deadlines and enhance customer satisfaction.

    Responsibilities

    + Review purchase orders, prepare shipping documents, arrange transportation, track shipments, and resolve errors.

    + Liaise with production, sales, customers, carriers, and vendors to ensure smooth operations.

    + Prepare bills and invoices, manage financial tasks related to logistics, and update reports.

    + Address daily issues, fix shipping errors, and handle customer inquiries.

    + Monitor stock levels, manage warehouse operations, and ensure optimal capacity.

    + Assist leadership with cost-saving and service improvement initiatives using data analysis.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

    + High attention to detail and a results-driven mindset.

    + Proficiency in computer skills, including Excel and Word.

    + Ability to function efficiently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.

    + Problem-solving acumen and decision-making abilities.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience supporting logistics operations, particularly in fleet logistics and maintenance.

    + Excel proficiency is essential; familiarity with ERP systems and Power BI is advantageous.

    + A solid tenure of at least 1-2 years with previous employers.

    Work Environment

    This position is based on-site at our headquarters in a corporate office setting in Dallas. You will work Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 5 PM.

    This is a Contract position based out of Dallas, TX 75248.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $25.00/hr.
