Job Title: Project Manager - Non ITJob Description
We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to oversee and coordinate various non-IT projects, particularly within manufacturing environments. The ideal candidate will possess a bachelor's degree in engineering, project management, or a related field, and have 3-5 years of project management experience, with a focus on manufacturing processes. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities in engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out. A PMP certification is preferred, and familiarity with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies will be advantageous.
Responsibilities
+ Coordinate projects by making detailed plans to achieve goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
+ Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
+ Recruit, assign, direct, and evaluate employees' work and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
+ Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess project feasibility.
Essential Skills
+ 3-5 years of project management experience, with 2-3 years in manufacturing environments.
+ Knowledge of manufacturing processes, project management software (MS Project, Primavera), and quality control systems.
+ Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, or a related field.
+ Proficiency in verbal and written communication, problem-solving, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ PMP certification preferred.
+ Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certifications are helpful.
+ Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for manufacturing and distribution.
+ Basic knowledge of business and management principles for strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
+ Familiarity with MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
Work Environment
The position is located in Whitsett, NC, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 4 pm. Interviews will be conducted virtually for the first round, with the second round taking place on-site. Free parking is available. The role involves working in a collaborative setting, emphasizing cross-functional team leadership, budget and timeline management, and vendor relations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $50.00/hr.
