    WORK LOCATION: The address is 6200 W Parker Rd, Plano, TX 75093

     

    WORK SCHEDULE: PRN; 10 hour shifts, 6:30am-5:00pm, Monday - Friday

    EP LAB DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:

    * Growing Structural Heart Program and LAAO procedure

    * Ability to cross train to other H&V specialties within Heart and Vascular

    * Great unit to learn and advance skillset

    * Recently remodeled EP lab

    HERE's WHAT YOU NEED:

    * Associates Degree in Applied Science required Or

    * Completion of accredited program in Cardiovascular Technology required Or

    * High School Diploma or equivalent with 2 years of work experience in invasive cardiology required.

    * 1 year of vascular or cardiac angiography preferred.

    * ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Upon Hire required And

    * GMRT - General Medical Radiologic Technologist If ARRT Only Upon Hire preferred Or

    * RCES - Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist And

    * BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED DO:

    * Imaging Quality and Processing:

    * Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam.

    * Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations.

    * Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique.

    * Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS
