_Our client, a global life sciences and biotechnology company, is looking for a skilled QA Inspector to join their growing team in Los Angeles County, CA!_
**Pay rate:** $22/hr. - $25/hr.
**Location:** Los Angeles County, CA
**Job type:** 6-month contract
Job Overview:
We are seeking a QA Inspector to provide quality support for a growing manufacturing team. This role will focus on processing backlogged documentation, prioritizing new inspections, and supporting electronics and finished goods releases. The QA Inspector will be responsible for daily quality inspection activities for finished products and sub-assemblies.
Responsibilities
+ Perform in-process, finished goods, and final inspections, including visual inspections.
+ Verify components against engineering drawings, bills of materials, specifications, and purchase orders.
+ Prepare, print, and verify quality documentation and labels for manufacturing processes.
+ Review manufacturing batch records and document inspection results.
+ Identify and clearly communicate nonconformances to management in a timely manner.
+ Accurately document and maintain QA inspection records using applicable software systems.
+ Support batch record scanning and records retention activities.
+ Provide QA floor support, including NCMR investigations, deviations, and corrective actions.
+ Review Lot History Records (LHRs) for release of finished products and sub-assemblies in SAP.
+ Ensure compliance with all SOPs, Work Instructions, and Quality policies.
+ Support backlog reduction and prioritization of new inspections and releases.
Education & Experience Requirements
+ High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required with 1–3 years of Quality Inspection experience required.
+ Experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment preferred.
+ Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 13485, 21 CFR 820, or equivalent QMS standards.
+ Knowledge of AQL inspection plans.
+ Experience working in a controlled Quality environment strongly preferred.
+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
+ Effective written and verbal communication skills.
+ Ability to collaborate with multiple departments.
+ Positive, team-oriented attitude.
Physical Requirements
+ Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands/fingers, and communicate verbally.
+ Frequently required to sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
+ Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
+ Vision requirements include peripheral vision and depth perception.
