    TEKsystems (Kohler, WI)


    Description: Looking for a role where every call you take makes an impact? Our client is hiring a Phone Operator to join a high‑performing team. This is a 12‑month contract with a strong likelihood of extension and potential long‑term opportunity. As the voice of the organization, you’ll manage the main phone line and ensure every caller is directed efficiently and warmly. You’ll also play a trusted role supporting executive‑level routing. You’ll be part of a tight-knit team of three that collectively handles 275–480 calls per day—keeping you engaged, on your toes, and never bored. Prior phone operator experience is a plus, and all calls are in English.

     

    Collaboration is a big part of the team’s culture—they stay connected through an active group chat and support each other throughout the day. Call quality is taken seriously, and feedback is provided to help you grow and excel.

     

    This position will begin with two weeks of on-site, hands-on training starting at the company’s main headquarters. After training, you’ll enjoy the flexibility of being 100% remote, with the expectation of coming onsite only for major technical issues or required team events—so living within driving distance is important.

     

    Schedule: Monday–Friday, first shift (7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m. or 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. CST)

     

    Equipment Provided: Computer, phone, headset

     

    What You Provide: High-speed internet

    What You’ll Do:

    + Be the first point of contact for external and internal callers

    + Transfer calls quickly and accurately to the appropriate department

    + Represent the organization with professionalism and warmth

    What You Need:

    + Ability to work remotely with high-speed internet

    + Strong computer skills, accurate spelling, and minimum 30+ WPM typing

    + An appropriate home workspace

    Additional Needs:

    + Be available for mandatory meetings and training onsite when needed

    + In the event of at‑home tech issues, be able to report onsite

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
