• About the Role

We’re looking for a dedicated Linen Room Assistant to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. In this role, you'll coordinate the procurement, distribution, inventory and processing of general linen and laundry for the hospital.

• What You’ll Do

+ Inventory and discard any old or torn linen, rewash any soiled linen, and order and receive linen daily.

+ Weigh and clean laundry using the correct formulation of cleaning products as needed for facility curtains and drapes, and patient and staff clothing.

+ Clean, restock, maintain, and store all cleaning equipment and supplies at the completion of each shift.

+ Wash equipment and keep area free from dirt and spillage; report unusual equipment issues to the Engineering Department.

+ Assume charge role on weekends and perform the Environmental Services Associate role during the weekdays.

+ Use hospital systems and tools to document care and support operations.

+ Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and support patient and staff satisfaction.

+ Serve as a positive, professional representative of our hospital and community.

• What You Bring

+ At least one year experience in commercial, non-residential linen distribution preferred

+ Strong communication and teamwork skills
