    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Supervisory Role

     

    $60/hr | Seguin, TX | Hybrid (3 Days Onsite / 2 Days Remote)

    Position Overview

    The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting is responsible for overseeing speech-language services by supervising Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs), completing evaluations, and participating in ARDs. This role focuses on clinical oversight, compliance, and collaboration rather than direct therapy delivery.

    Assignment Details

    + Location: Seguin, TX

    + Start Date: ASAP (estimated February 1, 2026)

    + End Date: May 21, 2026

    + Duration: Approximately 18 weeks

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday

    + Hours: 40 hours per week

    + Daily Hours: 7:30 AM – approximately 4:00 PM

    + Pay Rate: $60 per hour

    + Modality: Hybrid (3 days onsite / 2 days remote)

    + Travel: N/A

    Caseload & Role Details

    + Grade Level: Elementary

    + Caseload Size: Approximately 130 students

    + Service Model:

    + SLP does not provide direct therapy

    + Therapy services are delivered by SLPAs

    + SLP provides oversight, supervision, evaluations, and ARD participation

    Primary Responsibilities

    + Supervise and support assigned SLPAs

    + Conduct speech and language evaluations

    + Participate in ARDs and related meetings

    + Ensure services comply with state, federal, and professional standards

    + Maintain accurate documentation and reporting

    Minimum Requirements

    + Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Texas

    + Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by contract

    + Compliance with all applicable professional standards of practice

    + CPR certification if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest x-ray per requirements

    + Current health certificate per state or contract regulations

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age
