    The CAT/CT Scan Technologist produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as ordered by a physician. These cross-sectional images provide detailed information about soft tissues, blood vessels, and bones, which are essential for accurate diagnostics. The CAT/CT Scan Technologist obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. The CAT/CT Technologist also performs a variety of specialized tasks involved in the performance of CT scans.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + High School Diploma or equivalent

    + One (1) year of experience as a CAT/CT Technologist preferred.

    + Appropriate valid state licensure in diagnostic imaging

    + A.R.R.T. (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) Certification, if required by state regulations or contract specifications

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

     

    CAT Scan Technologist (Travel) – Visalia, CA | $3,283 Weekly

     

    Job Type: Travel Contract

     

    Duration: 13 Weeks

     

    Schedule: 1 Night Shift • 3×12 • 36 hours/week

     

    Start Date: February 16, 2026

     

    Weekly Pay: $3,283

     

    + $1,806 taxable

    + $1,477 stipends

    About the Opportunity

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an experienced CAT Scan Technologist for a night-shift travel assignment at a respected medical facility in Visalia, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for a CT professional seeking strong compensation, a supportive team environment, and the chance to work with advanced imaging equipment.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Perform high-quality CAT Scan procedures in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols

    + Utilize and troubleshoot Toshiba 64-Slice CT equipment (preferred)

    + Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures

    + Maintain accurate documentation and ensure patient safety

    + Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to deliver efficient, patient-centered diagnostic imaging

    + Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and hospital compliance standards

    Required Qualifications

    + Minimum 1 year CAT Scan experience

    + CA Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) license

    + ARRT (R)(CT)

    + BLS (AHA)

    + Fluoroscopy License

    + Diagnostic X-Ray and CT Tech experience

    Preferred Qualifications

    + IV Certification

    + Experience with Toshiba 64-Slice CT systems

    Schedule

    + Night Shift

    + 3×12-hour shifts (36 hours per week)

    + 13-week contract

     

    Compensation

     

    Total Weekly Pay: $3,283

    Includes:

    + $1,806 taxable pay

    + $1,477 weekly stipends
