Position Overview

The Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in the school setting is responsible for performing student evaluations and providing individualized, evidence-based speech and language therapy services in accordance with each student’s plan of care and applicable physician directives. This role supports K–12 students through collaboration with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams.

Assignment Details

+ Location: Lodi & Stockton, CA

+ Start Date: July 27, 2026

+ Duration: Approximately 46 weeks (2026–2027 school year)

+ Schedule: Monday–Friday

+ Hours: 40 hours per week

+ Daily Schedule: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

+ Pay Rate: $90 per hour

+ Modality: In-person only

+ Travel: Travel stipends and housing packages available

Primary Responsibilities

+ Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations

+ Provide and document individualized and group therapy services

+ Develop and implement treatment plans aligned with student goals

+ Collaborate with teachers, families, and school-based teams

+ Maintain compliant and timely documentation per state and federal guidelines

Minimum Requirements

+ Active California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license required

+ Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred and may be required by contract

+ Compliance with all relevant professional standards of practice

+ CPR certification if applicable

+ TB questionnaire, PPD, or chest X-ray per requirements

+ Current health certificate per state or contract guidelines

+ Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

+ Must be at least 18 years of age
