    Behavior Technician – California (Experience Required) – $25/hr

     

    Amergis is hiring experienced Behavior Technicians to support students in school settings across California. This role is ideal for professionals who are passionate about helping children build skills, improve behavior, and succeed in the classroom.

     

    Position: Behavior Technician (BT)

     

    Pay Rate: $25/hr Location: Schools across California Schedule: School-day hours, Monday–Friday

    What You’ll Do

    + Provide 1:1 behavioral support to students in a classroom environment

    + Implement Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs) as directed by school staff

    + Support students with communication, social, and coping skill development

    + Collect and document behavioral data

    + Collaborate with teachers, school teams, and Amergis supervisors

    Requirements

    + Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is REQUIRED

    + Ability to follow structured behavior plans

    + Strong communication and teamwork skills

    + Reliable, professional, and committed to student success
